A laid-back, old-school dungeon-crawling, dragon and elf game using a simple, homespun ruleset. No deep lore, no overwrought backstory, just pick up your sword (or spellbook), grab your torches, delve deep, get loot, and (hopefully) make it out alive.

CHARACTER CREATION

STATS

You have three Stats you use to interact with the world. At character creation, roll 3d6 for each, in order.

STAR SIGN

Roll 1d12 to determine your star sign

1 Tree Luck starts at 7
2 Wands ADV to tracking
3 Smith Can’t be knocked over
4 Fire Serpent ADV on Luck vs Poison
5 Flaming Swords +2 to Reaction Rolls
6 Salamander Soulmate - somewhere
7 Eagle ADV on ranged attacks
8 Pentacle Have a dying curse
9 Lantern Bearer +1 STR
10 Mixer +1 DEX
11 Chalice +2 HP
12 Galley +1 WIS

LUCK

Starting Luck is equal to half of your highest Stat.

Spend a point of Luck to have things go your way.

To test your Luck, roll a d20 under your current Luck to avoid catastrophe—whether you succeed or fail, reduce your Luck by 1.

Every morning, set your Luck to its starting value.

HEALTH

To determine your HP at character creation, roll d6 (this also determines your class) and add the result to your Strength score.
